Technical features
• All components which are important for transmitting the chucking force are hardened and ground.
• Reversible top jaws hardened and ground.
• Scroll drop-forged and balanced, thread flanks ground on both sides, made from 20 Mn Cr 5 hardened to 45° HRC.
• Jaws made from case hardened alloy steel. Thread flanks of base hard jaws hardened and precisely ground to the accuracy of pitch.
• Pinion made from case hardened nickel chromium alloy steel hardened to 45°HRC. All bearing parts ground to finest limits.
• Pinion and operating screws recessed into the chuck body to reduce
the risk of accidents.
• Chucks bodies made out of special cast iron jaw guides hardened and ground 180 – 210 Bhn.
